Bills IQ is a good site to find out how you stand financially. The Bill IQ test gives you a score based on your answers to credit, debt, budget, wealth, and life plan questions. I discovered I am pretty Financially fit with a score of 90%. Another interesting thing I noticed is you can compare your Bill IQ to others in categories related to you such as gender, age, income, and location. Based on your answers it gives you some tips to improve your financial fitness by breaking it down by question how you can improve your Bill IQ if you did not give the best response. The tips are not always best fit because the answers are too limited on a few questions, such as contributing directly from your paycheck to a 401k, which is something that does not exist as a possibility for those like me who do not get a regular paycheck. From it I did learn a little about how credit scores work, but I still say credit age plays a big role because I currently am unable to build up credit because I still do not exist in the credit world. How stupid is that? You cannot get credit cards if you do not exist as a credit score and if you do not have those things you cannot get a credit score. I have a mortgage, which supposedly gets you into the credit score world, but now 2 years later it is still as if I do not exist.
The site also provides some resources to give you
Debt help and become more financially fit. This includes info on
Debt consolidation and
Debt relief.
