My Altador Stats Update June 28, 2008

Today I made it to Level 1 rank. I am now thinking it is going to be hard for me to make it to even Level 8, but I really want to end with a Blue shield and Level 4 seems too easy of a goal. Today I also got the Altador Cup avatar when loading the stats page.

Better Than You: Meerca Chase II

This week's Better Than You features Heermeedjet and Merouladen. Below is their challenge statement.

"We've spent most of our lives on the run, so sometimes it's nice to take a break and do some of the chasing down ourselves. Especially when there are Neggs involved. They sell for a boatload of Neopoints, you know."

To beat him you must get 1,850 points in Meerca Chase II. I am not that great at the redo of this game. Plus I am concentrating on getting Altador Cup points, so I will not be even attempting this week's Better Than You.

Prize is Candy Cane Negg for the 500 winners. Additionally, you get a Gold Trophy and 20,000 Neopoints if you are the first 10, Silver Trophy and 10,000 Neopoints if you are between the 11th and 50th, and a Bronze Trophy and 3,000 Neopoints if you are between 51st and 500th.

Altador Cup III Ranks

The ranks are based on how many points you have earned. Each Yooyuball win counts as 1 point. Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise plays count for a fraction of points as long as they are high enough of scores. Go here for a score calculator that helps figure out how much extra points you may have up to from those two games. Below is a chart of how many points you need for each rank.

Share Your Altador Cup III Stats Contest

I have been meaning to do a blog contest for a while because I have some Virtual Prize Codes and things from the Neopets Trading Card Fun Paks. Altador Cup III inspired me to finally come up with a contest to give them away. That and I just unpacked them from my move last month.

How to Enter:

You do not have to do good at the Altador Cup III to win this contest. You simply have to comment on one of my Altador Cup III Stat posts, where I share my updated stats, with your current stats. You can share you stats as often as you want, but you only earn one entry per day that you share your stats.

How to Win:

Winners will be chosen through a drawing. All the entries will be put in a hat and drawn at random until all prizes have been awarded. You can win multiple prizes, but only if you have multiple entries, as the winning slips will not be returned before next prize is drawn for.

There are several different prizes. I am not doing it by Grand, 1st, 2nd, etc. because I kind of think they are all equally good. They are numbered to show what order I will pull winners for them by. I am willing to ship these prizes to anywhere in the world since they are just cards and shipping will not be too much, so Neopians from all over the world feel free to enter. Prizes will be forfeited if you do not contact me before August 31, 2008.
