If you are in Canada or are planning to visit soon, then you should definitely plan on stopping at a Mac's store. For a limited time you can get a FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion when you buy 2 591 ml Coca Cola products at Mac's. There are three different medallions to collect and they are exclusively available as part of this promotion at Mac's. The promotion lasts from January 4 - February 28, 2010 (January 5, 2010 - March 2, 2010 in the Quebec and Atlantic provinces), but I would not be surprised if these go fast and the supplies run out before the promotions end date.
I personally love collecting Olympic and Coca Cola stuff. I wish I could get to Canada to buy some Diet Cokes at Mac's and get at least one of the medallions. I will probably just be stuck with only getting an Olympic pin from the United States Coke Rewards program, although I hope to also earn enough to snag a beanie before supplies run out. I understand why they are only doing it in Canada, as the stores are not in the United States and it is exclusive to Mac's, but I so wish they would do something similar in the United States, as the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics are taking place so close to the American border. Anyways if you can get your hands on one of these medallions I am sure it will be a great collectible, as Olympics and Coca Cola stuff is often sought after, especially when combined. Plus these seem to be a pretty unique style or at least new to me collectible.
