Altador Cup V NC Challenge: MVP Bonus Prizes

Today I remember to check back on the NC Challenge to see if there were bonus prizes for beating all the challenges. I was pretty sure there were based on what the page said, but was not sure if they were released yet. They have been released.

The prizes for beating all the NC Challenges are the Altador Cup V MVP Medal and the Altador Cup NC Challenge Prize Pack. The Prize Pack has the following items in it: A Heros Welcome Background, Altador Cup V MVP Jersey, Altador Cup V MVP Skirt, and Altador Cup V MVP Cleats.

The NC Challenge was fun, but I really do not care about wearable items. I knew that is what I was getting from the start, but I doubt I will pay for Neocash to do a challenge again unless I am really bored. It would be nice if they started giving out things just for your NeoHome, though, as I would like to get back into decorating mine.

Altador Cup V Wrap Up

I am happy that this year my team Terror Mountain finished 9th. I am also happy I got All Star Rank. What I am sad about, though, is that I still did not earn enough prize shop points to get the best prize.

I got 24,012 points. I do not want the 40,000 point item (Pirate Paint Brush), but I do want the 20,000 point book as well as the 5,000 point stamp and the other books. I cannot even get the most expensive book and the stamp. To get everything I want (books, stamp, statues) is about 26,000, which is kind of annoyingly close to what I have. I am going to think on it and maybe just get the 20,000 point book and the little stuff and use Neopoints to get the stamp.

How you do this year in the Altador Cup? What are you getting in the prize shop? Anything you wish you had enough points to get in the prize shop?

Altador Cup V Stat Update July 4, 2010

I kind of surprised myself that I made it to the ultimate rank of All Star (i.e. 20) today. I had some time this morning and late this afternoon and ended up within 20 of getting to Rank 20. It seemed so in reach that I just stayed up an extra hour than planned and achieved it. Kind of exciting, but I am kind of too tired to care right now.

Altador Cup V Stat Update July 2, 2010

Yeah, I kind of ended up barely playing today. I just played a little bit now to get to Rank 19. I might play tomorrow some, but I do not care about Rank 20 anymore. I have too many other things to do at this time and am kind of burnt out on Altador Cup. If I find some bored down time the next two days, though, I will be trying to get to Rank 20.

Altador Cup V Stat Update July 1, 2010

The Internet on the road was not as good as I had hoped, so I did not get much playing in today. I am almost to Rank 19 and Rank 20 is not entirely out of the question, but it is very likely I just will not get there this year. I kind of do not mind because if I get there this year, then what is there to shoot for next year?

Altador Cup V Stat Update June 29, 2010

I did not get as much playing in today as I had hoped, but hey there is more to life than Neopets. Anyways, I wish tomorrow was not an off day for the Cup, but I am hoping to get some playing in on July 1. That will depend on how the signal is on the road, though, as I will have plenty of free time, but not necessarily good Internet connection.

Altador Cup V Stat Update June 27, 2010

I am managed to stay on track for my goal to get to Rank 20. I will probably stay on track until the end of the second round, but I might have trouble during the finals because I have unexpected plans that are way more exciting. I still hope to fit in just enough to get to Rank 20, though. Only need 244 points, so it seems so in reach, yet kind of far with June 30 being an off day and the very likely possibility I will have little time July 1, 2, and 4. I see tomorrow, Tuesday, and the 3rd as the last good days for me playing Altador Cup, but none of them good 100 point day possibilities.

I am exactly on track for my plan to get to Rank 20. However, that means I have to do 100 points tomorrow and I am kind of burnt out and might just not care anymore about Rank 20. It kind of depends on if I can find anything else to do tomorrow to entertain myself.

Altador Cup V Stat Update June 24, 2010

I played a decent amount of Yooyuball today. Enough to stay on track for Rank 20, but this weekend is going to be the real test of whether I can do it or not. Even if I do not make Rank 20, I will be happy with my efforts in the Altador Cup this year. However, I still think Rank 20 is very much in reach for me.

Altador Cup V Stat Update June 20, 2010

I kind of surprised myself being able to get to Rank 15 today and back on track for my schedule to get to Rank 20. I might fall back behind tomorrow, as I am going to focus on my big non-Neopets to do list, but if I tackle most of that tomorrow I will easily get back on track on Wednesday. Of course, I might just get sucked into Altador Cup and get ahead tomorrow and then do the stuff on Tuesday instead, but not likely.

Fell behind on my goal today, as I did not play much at all. Tomorrow I probably will not have enough time to get back on track. Monday I might be able to, but there are other non-Neopets things I neglected this weekend, too, so those will probably get priority over Altador Cup. Current goal is to get back on track by Tuesday night.
