The I Spy Foodimal is a Neopets game sponsored by the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.  It is a very quick game to play for 3,000 Neopoints a day, as you just have to find some foodimals in one image to get enough for 1,000 Neopoints per game play.  Also, until February 3 you can get an exclusive virtual item prize for playing.  The Outstanding Strawberry Staff item that you get is a wearable.

Scores Galore Summer through July 22, 2013

The summer edition of Scores Galore on Neopets was originally supposed to go from July 12 through July 21, 2013, but it was late launching, so they extended it through July 22, 2013.  During Scores Galore you can send 5 scores for Neopoints per game per day instead of the normal 3.  It is particularly useful when there is a good featured game for double Neopoints.  This is a great time to play some Neopets games and earn more Neopoints, especially if you are on summer break and have time to spare/fill with something to do.

Scores Galore Spring through April 28, 2013

Springs Galore Spring began today and will continue through next Sunday, April 28, 2013.  Scores Galore is a great time to earn some extra Neopoints, as you can send your score for 5 times instead of the normal 3 per game during Score Galore.  It is especially a good time to earn NP from quick and easy high NP games, such as Kass Basher.  It is also something to enjoy and help wait out the release of the Mysterious Oblelisk plot prize shop.

Neopets Games Scores Galore Birthday Celebration

In honor of Neopets anniversary, it is Scores Galore again.  The Birthday Celebration edition of Scores Galore looks like it goes through Saturday, November 17, 2012 (assuming I calculated the remaining hours, right).  With Scores Galore you can get Neopoints for up to 5 score sends per game.  Great time to earn some extra NP with your best/favorite games.

Scores Galore for another 8 Days!!!

When playing the new game Assignment 53, I noticed that Scores Galore is active.  This means you can submit 5 scores for Neopoints for every Neopets flash game.  The countdown timer has about 200 hours left, so if my calculations are correct Scores Galores will continue through the end of Friday, July 27, 2012 NST (i.e. PST).

Scores Galore Weekends Return for May 2012

Scores Galore returns for the weekends in May 2012.  During Scores Galore Weekends on Neopets, you can send scores for Neopoints five times per game per day.  The first weekend begins early by starting tonight at midnight.  These are a great time for scoring some extra NP.

Daily Dare Day 13 Bonus Prize Extended through March 21

Due to the Ghost Bopper game being buggy, the Neopets News announced that you have until the end of tomorrow to beat either AAA or Abigail and get the prize for beating them on the day the game was released.  This also means you get extra time to practice if you are having trouble with beating AAA, although this is a very easy one if you are not dealing with glitches at least in my opinion.  Find out about the Day 13 prizes here.

Daily Dare 2012 Begins and New Games Room Returns

The Daily Dare challenge has officially begun for 2012 with the first day going through the end of tomorrow and then new challenges starting at midnight NST every day through March 25 (yeah, it not only is starting later, but it ending earlier than normal, too).  The first challenge is for the game Snowmuncher and I will post my first Daily Dare daily post related to it shortly.  The more exiciting news for me now, though, is that the new Games Room design is back up.  I really do prefer it to the old one by a mile.

Games Room Back to Old Version for Now

The new Game Machine games room has been taken down and the Games room is back to normal.  Speculation on the Neoboards is that it is a mini Daily Dare plot.  Whatever it is, I hope the new Games room comes back, as I liked it much better.

New Neopets Game Room Beta Live and Games Galore

The new Game Room Beta being referred to as the Game Machine is now active on Neopets.  This is a great looking redo in my opinion.  I think it really looks fresh, new, and more appealing.

The redo also includes the individual game pages having a new look.  This includes easy navigation to go back to all games, go to a category of games, go to the game list for a particular world, go to popular games, go to the day's featured game, and go to a random game.  The random game feature is especially fun if you cannot decide on a game to play.

Another part I really love about the redo of the individual game pages is the NP ratio now being displayed as 1 NP = how many ever points in the particular game.  This makes it so much clearer and easier for those that find the math to figure out the score to reach the max 1,000 NP per play difficult.

I also like the way the High Score box is displayed on the page for each game.  Oh and ho you favorites are shown under that box.

New Game Machine Games Room Coming to Neopets

So the delayed surprise from yesterday, is a new Games Room on Neopets being referred to as the Game Machine.  It is not active yet, as they are still working on all the bugginess going on with Neopets lately.  Sounds interesting, though.  I especially am excited that once it is released there will be a Games Galore week through midnight NST on March 4, 2012.

Games Galore means you can send 5 scores a day per game.  Games Galore is a great way to score some extra NP on the games your good at and also good motivation to practice up for the Daily Dare starting on March 7, 2012.

Neopets Daily Dare 2012 to start March 7

I look forward all year for the Daily Dare challenges every March on Neopets.  It has not always been consistent when starting, but typically it starts on March 1.  However, the Neopets news announced yesterday that this year it will start on March 7, 2012.  Be sure to check back when it starts as I will be doing my daily posts on it again this year.

It is kind of nice to get a good heads up on the official start date.  Also, the date is being pushed back for so surprise on February 28.  Sounds interesting, but not likely to be very game related, but maybe a decent short plot.

Scores Galore Birthday Edition

In honor of Neopets celebrating its birthday this week, Scores Galore is back through November 19, 2011.  During Scores Galore you can send scores for Neopoints up to 5 times per game per day instead of the normal 3 times per game per day.  This is a good time to rack up some extra Neopoints on your favorite Neopets games, especially ones that can be easy 1,000 Neopoint games.

Reminder: Scores Galore Weekend

Don't forget that you can send up to 5 scores per game on Neopets today and tomorrow as part of the Score Galores Weekends.  Great time to get some extra Neopoints from your favorite games.  Today it is especially great if you are good at Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars, as that is the Double NP game.

I am enjoying getting some extra plays for Neopoints on my favorites like Kass Basher, Bouncy Supreme, Extreme Potato Counter, and Meerca Chase II.

Scores Galore Weekends on Neopets through September 18, 2011

I usually do not check on Neopets on the weekends because there is never anything new, but apparently I also forgot to look on Friday, as the news for this past weekend included that the weekends through September 18, 2011 are Scores Galore Weekends.  This means that on Saturdays and Sundays you can send 5 scores per game per day.  Not as amazing as the 10th Anniversary 10 scores a day, but it certainly can help give you a boost towards your goal of buying new Neopets items or even just working towards a higher level for your Neopian Bank account.

The Third Annual Neopies: Best New Game of 2010 Winner

In Third Annual Neopies' category for Best New Game the nominees were Hannah and the Kreludor Caves, Jumpin' Gem Heist
, Kookia, and Neopian Battlefield Legends.

Jumpin' Gem Heist ended up winning with 36% of a the vote. Second was Kookia with 24%. Both Hannah and the Kreludor Caves and Neopian Battlefield Legends got 20%. Of the four I kind of did like Jumpin' Gem Heist the best, but the Best New Game of 2010 was definitely Wrath of Snowager in my opinion.

The Third Annual Neopies: Best New Game of 2010

Today's category for the Third Annual Neopies is Best New Game. The nominees are Hannah and the Kreludor Caves, Jumpin' Gem Heist
, Kookia, and Neopian Battlefield Legends. You can also vote none of these.

My favorite New Game of 2010 is the Wrath of the Snowager. This is the main game in 2010 that was released and got me hooked. None of the ones nominated really caught my interest, although I did kind of get into Kookia a little bit when it was part of the challenges in November.

8 Score Sends in April

You can now send 8 scores per game per day for the rest of April. Not as good as the 10 score sends, but a little more manageable and still fun for gaining more Neopoints. Might get me back into playing Neopets games other than on Wednesdays for Better Than You. I have not been playing much, though, because the 10 score sends kind of burnt me out.

10 Score Sends is Over

The ability to send 10 score sends per game is now over on Neopets. It has been going on over a month and they did warn it was ending on the 4th, but I really thought it meant it was ending after the 4th was finished (i.e. at midnight tonight). I was not even able to get to 100k today before it suddenly ended. I am rather annoyed at it ending this way, but at least it did go on for a long time and it did go to the 4th and not just end with the end of 2009 like they announced at one time.

Final Day to Enjoy 10 Score Sends

Today is supposed to be the last day of 10 score sends. I am going to try to take full advantage of it for the last time and do my best so far. My goal is to earn 200k from playing games today. I have easily done 100k several times, but not lately, as I have not had much time for Neopets. Today, though, I have planned ahead and have only a few things that need to get done and am free to spend most of the day having fun on Neopets.
