Key Quest Double Key Promotion on March 14, 2009

They are doing yet another Key Quest load test Double Key Promotion. This third one will be on March 14, 2009 between 5pm and 6pm NST. This is the first on a Saturday and I wonder if that will allow more to be part of it. The first one was pretty hard to get a game in for. The second one seemed to run pretty smoothly at least for me. Thus this could be about normal or a horrendous time to try to play Key Quest.

March 3, 2009 Double Key Quest Promotion

Head over to Key Quest right now for the hour long Double Key promotion. The loading is not too bad this time. I guess they upgraded servers or something, as it is much more smooth compared to last time. It is not the best and I have had some problems, but I did at least get in a quick game already. I wonder if they will actually give out a virtual prize this time, as I cannot tell that I got anything for participating last time.

Another Double Key Quest Promotion on March 3, 2009 at 4pm NST

I just noticed in the Neopets news that they are going to do another load test Double Key Quest promotion since the last one on January 29, 2009, successfully overloaded the servers. It is somewhat frustrating to play during the event, but I found it still worthwhile, especially if you watch television or a movie while it is slow loading. If you play between 4pm NST and 5pm NST on March 3, 2009, you are supposed to get a virtual prize, but I played during the time last time and do not think I got any special virtual prize.

Tonight's Double Key Promotion for Key Quest Update 3

Yeah, I finally finished the game. It was just a two key game, so the prize was not that great from the 2 Lead keys I got for winning, but hopefully it is good enough to get whatever the special prize is. Below is the screenshots from winning and stuff. It is too frustratingly slow to try to play another game. Now if they would just get this week's Better Than You actually live.

Tonight's Double Key Promotion for Key Quest Update 2

I am now in a game, but it is very slow going. The whole first move went so slow my opponent did not even move perhaps due to lag and the lag made me skip a turn as well because the die took forever to roll. This is annoying, but hopefully worth the virtual prize I should get.

I have been trying to get in to play and get the special virtual prize, but it is so damn slow. The first time I got in, but then nothing would happen when I clicked to join games. Now it is just trying to connect on my refresh. Anyone get in yet and get the virtual prize awarded, too?

Reminder: Double Key Quest Promotion Tonight at 5pm NST

Tonight at 5pm NST (i.e. Pacific time, 6pm Mountain Time, 7pm Central Time, 8pm Eastern Time) Neopets is having a special Double Key Promotion in the Key Quest party style board game. This event only lasts for an hour and they are doing it as a load test for the game. If you easily get annoyed by lag, then you probably want to avoid Key Quest during that time, as I find it gets kind of laggy on a regular day even with my fast Internet connection. If you have patience, though, it might be worth trying to get some extra keys, as the prizes you get using the keys tend to be pretty good. I know I am going to try to get on for this special event tonight. Also, it sounds like just for playing during the hour you will get a free rare virtual item. My guess is that it is a special token for playing Key Quest with.
